Halloween hullaballoo

So, for Halloween this year, I dressed up as a Viking. It was AWESOME. I had this huge metal viking helmet, a bunch of leather and a bunch of fur. It pretty much ROCKED. :D At school, though, the whole viking getup was kind of a pain in the rear end. My leather skirt kept on wanting to show more leg than necessary, and the metal helmet got REALLY heavy, really fast. In addition to that, i got a ton of random people I didn't know knocking on my head, whispering, "Is this real...?" But I did get to wear slippers. And leg warmers. So that was good. Also, I got elected as the best costume out of my homeroom class, which sent me to the.. championships (i guess you could call them that.) Then, the next day, they were announcing the winners over the intercom, and I won the best overall costume. Ohhh yeah! So, the stupid leather skirt and the heavy helmet paid off in the end. Except the prize was kinda crummy. But hey. I got bragging rights, right?

Stuff...

I decided I might as well give an update on a few things that I've been doing with my life lately. So here goes.
I am in a little youth bluegrass band. We have fiddles, banjo, bass, guitar, and I play the mandolin. Its pretty dang fun. Over the summer we got to go do gigs all over the place in utah. We went to This Is the Place state park a bunch, Fillmore, the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake, schools, city shindigs, and a bunch of places like that. It's a blast.

I'm Back!!

Holy crap! I almost totally forgot about this whole blog stuff.. My friend Jenny was talking to me about how I haven't done it in what.. 3 years? So I said hey. What the heck. I'll start to do it again, I mean, why not?? :) I am not completely sure what I'll do with it yet, but I'll figure out something... So yup. Over and out!

Funny times

Today me and my brother were looking through my kindergartener sister's ABC's book. she had to draw a 2 pix of somthing that that started w\ the letter. when me and my bro were at X, we looked at the pictures. one was a colorful X, the other one, we had no idea what it was, so we ask Mattie (the kindergartener) "Whats this??" "i don't know. my friend let me copy it, but she didnt tell me what the heck it was!"

ive been wanting to post this but had never had time to. this happend last year (thats how late i am!) so, me and my bros and mattie were sleeping downstairs and max (the youngest) asks calvin "whats a cannibal?" calvin answers: they are people who eat other people" max thinks about it for a while then he asks "are cannibals hairy?"

this is where I wish I was; nice warm weather, swimsuit on, instead of here freazing!

My Summer Vacation, and My First day of School

The rest of my summer vacation was awsome! I went to Bills and swam. I had another sleep-over with Hayley. I went to the Cabin. I played with Hayley (tons). I got in sevral fights with Chubbs, Mattie, and Cal. (well those parts weren't that fun).


First day of school:
It was fun. Poor Morgon thew-up. My aunt is my teacher; although I not suposed to call her aunt Kate. Only, Mrs. Francis. Bummer.

My Summer Vacation

My summer vacation was okay. I guess. I 'll number some of the funest things I did this summer.


#1. I went to the cabin a few times.

#2. We went swimmin' at Uncle Bill's lots. Kinda lots.

#3. We went to the public pool. Once.

#4. I played with my cousin, Hayley a lot.

#5. I went to this County State Fair thing with my friend and there we went on a ferris wheel. It gave me lots of butterflies in my tummy.

#6. I had a few sleep-overs.

#7. Played the computer and watched T.V.

#8. Read lots of books.

#9. Cleaned my room several times. And the house.

#10. Drew a lot.

#11. Saw quite a few movies at the movie theater.

#12. Swam in our little vinyl pool thing.

#13. Rode my bike around a couple of times.

#14. I went to another pool with my other friend.


There's two more weeks until school and so let's cross our fingers and hope that at least one more time something really exciting can happen.
